The Design Emphasis 2006
program will be hosted
by the International
Woodworking
Machinery and Supply
Fair, to be held August
23-26, 2006 in Atlanta, Ga. The
student design competition will
showcase new designs for the first
time from many of the top students
representing more than 40 of the
best design programs in the country.
The Best of Show Winners
and winners in each category will
have an opportunity to participate
in the Fall International Home
Furnishings Market in High
Point, N.C., in October as guests
of IWF and the American Home
Furnishings Alliance.
A panel of industry professionals
will judge categories of seating,
ready to assemble, contract,
casegoods, occasional and design
creativity. Winners will be shown at
a special display area during IWF
2006.

By registering in advance,
attendees can save $15 over the
onsite registration fee of $25 and
have the convenience of having
their badge mailed to them in
advance of the show. Three or
more employees working for the
same company at the same location
can register in advance for just $5
per person by going to the IWF
Web site and clicking on buyer
information — team registration.
