Duvic named AWI
executive vp
The board of
directors of the
Architectural
Woodwork
Institute has
named Philip Duvic
executive vice president.
An industry veteran and former
AWI director of marketing and
communications, Duvic has led
AWI’s successful marketing and
communications efforts. He joined
the team in 2000 to enhance
AWI’s identity and image in the
architectural woodwork, design and
contractor communities.
Duvic served as AWI president in
1998-1999, as well as a member of
the board of directors. His familiarity
with the association gives him
added insight into the importance of
communication with members and
the delivery of services that have
maximum value to the success of
their businesses.
“I am honored to accept the
position as chief staff executive of
AWI and appreciate the AWI board’s
vote of confidence,” Duvic said. “I
look forward to working with the
AWI officers, board of directors,
other volunteers and staff to execute
our new strategic plan that will guide
AWI through 2013.”
