Wellborn expansion, new look announced
hangar. In addition, Wellborn Forest
has introduced a new truck and trailer
design for the company fleet. Wellborn
Forest recently purchased five new
tractor trucks and 53 trailers as part
of the expansion of its transportation
department. The new trailer graphics
depict four Wellborn Forest kitchens
designed and installed by dealers.

The National Hardwood Lumber Association announced that
the 30th Dry Kiln Operators Basic Training class will be held
March 12 to 14, 2007 in Memphis. The class includes lectures,
discussions, exercises and practical kiln operation at their DH
kiln. Subjects covered include moisture measurement, stacking, kiln schedules, quality control and defect identification.
NHLA also announced that the annual Advanced Hardwood Lumber Drying Seminar will be held April 23 to 24,
2007 in Memphis. This class covers the latest techniques for
all hardwoods. Subjects include drying white maple, check-free oak, and flat hickory and gum. Attendees will fulfill
the educational requirements for the Master Drying Kiln
Operator certification. The instructor for both classes is
