edgebanding plant
Fine Edge Mfg. USA recently announced it is becoming Sharp
Profiles, the newest J.R. Sharp Co.
Located north of Los Angeles, Sharp
Profiles is one of three PVC edgebanding plants operating in the U.S.
and the only one west of the Mississippi, according to the company.

Flamex’s Ole Meyer
Sorensen dies
Ole Meyer Sorensen died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, after a
battle with cancer, according to the Greensboro News
& Record.
Sorensen was born Dec. 1, 1939, in Denmark. After serving
two years in the Danish Guard Hussars as a lieutenant tank
commander, he worked for the East Asiatic Co. and has lived
in Mombasa, Kenya, New York City and Greensboro, N.C.
Most recently, Sorensen was president of Flamex Inc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American
Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC
